Page 1 of 2 Fun Lovin’ Criminals with a presentation of their new album “Classic Fantastic” “Fun Lovin’ Criminals”, those hooligans from New York, return with their first new studio album in the last five years, bringing with it a new show of their famous hits and fresh tracks to Russia. On the 5th of June in “Zal Ozhidaniya” all audio-esthetes will get a traditional high-quality cocktail made by FLC – funk, hip-hop, jazz, rock and blues variations. The sixth studio album “Classic Fantastic” was released on the 1st of March, 2010 and includes 13 tracks. In addition to Hue Morgan and his team, the rapper Roots and the famous British comic Paul Kaye collaborated on the CD.
The light atmosphere of this music picnic underlines the esthetics and easy listening of its compositions. Loved by many in our city, this isn't the first time “Fun Lovin’ Criminals” have been invited to play Saint Petersburg. In 2009 their performance in Manezh Kadetskogo Korpusa drew several thousand Russian fans. The new CD is more dynamic, with very complicated compositions of rhythms, optimistic and cheerful, but constantly retains the style of the band's ultra-famous hits “Scooby Snackes” and “Love Unlimited”. “If everyone of us starts to think about positive things, those things will happen, - Hue Morgan says. – But negative thoughts cannot stimulate positive reforms. We went through a hard period of our life, and now the new day is coming. So lets have fun and think of a good things!”
