Oleg Kostrov is not for the first time on the stage on of Stereoleto. He has already performed together with his brother-in-arms in "Noj dlya Frau Muller" band on one of the Stereoleto festivals. However, the participants of his new project Super Sonic Future that has opened the Stereoleto 2005 did not look as the beginners either. Everything was very professional, elegantly erotic, fashionably electronic and up to the level of the foreign colleagues who continued this party.

The cult rock duet manged to do almost impossible for American musicians to gain the success in Motherland of rock - England. That's why to conquer the local audience was not a problem for them. The concert of a real up-to-date-stars of such a scale of fame was doomed to success. We were fed up with the not so "fresh" artists for a long time , whose fame were rolling down. Nevertheless our audience started to get used to t he tours of the artists who are popular today, at this very moment. It's really good as the St. Petersburg's audience has always been known for it's fastidious music taste instead of the blind adoration. This is probably the reason for polysemantic opinion about the concert - the songs were great, but the artists looked a bit tensed and nervous. Oh well, stars are the stars and they are allowed to heat up the interest to precious themselves by any means.

One of the most wanted show among the St. Petersburg's music lovers became a real surprise for them. Brian Eno, being our fellow countrymen , during all the years that he has been living in St Petersburg have not had a single concert. When all the music community was sick and tired of trying to guess when and where Eno will show up on the stage , he surprised everybody by his choice of Russia and St Petersburg and more than that of an unexpected company - the best Arabic-French rock musician Rachid Taha. Eno has not only choosen him as a partner on the stage, but also stepped back, leaving Rachid an opportunity to rock the place as a frontman and he has done it successfully. Rachid jumped out on the stage as a devil from a snuffbox and did not slow down till the very end. In spite of his leading position on the stage, one should mention the big difference of the sound of this live show and Rachid's records. The explanation is certainly the presence of Brian Eno and his great charisma.

It was the most sensational and unexampled concert not only in history of "Light music" but in all the history of international bookings in Russia. For a long time we have been visited only by those bands who were already out of fashion on the west or who slowly were going down towards the end of their true success. Those who are still on top of the fame and glory started to come over to Russia only 2-3 years ago. But never before have we been visited by such stars as Franz Ferdinand - the newest and the brightest! Only year and a half ago they appeared, one year ago the world has heard about them and half a year their debut album became the album of the year and themselves - the band #1 in the Motherland of rock music - in England! And now they are here! Somebody noticed: "they can not play well yet", somebody decided - the new songs weaker than the ones form album", but nobody really could listened to them, because everybody was singing along with them old tracks and was swimming in pure ecstatic drive of Franz Ferdinand!

The headliner of the most prestigious music festivals of the planet, band number 1 in the world justified its title in full extent. The country of a rising sun orchestra has become an unexampled fantastic show. About 2 dozens of artist on the stage and a few thousand guests have been exchanging the energy for 2 hours non-stop. The participants of Shibusa Shirazu played, sang, danced and even draw on the stage and the charmed audience of Sushi Disco 6 provided a great feed-back. Nobody has been left indifferent to this show, however everybody has been unanimous in his opinion: Never before has the North Capital seen something like that.

The very first record was nominated for Swedish variant of Grammy and right after that the band was named the leading group of Swedish new jazz wave. But Hird is not only the group, but mostly is it's leader - Christoffer Berg. Chris is only 20-something and he is coming form the Swedish new-jazz capital Getheborg. At the Kent Inside Scandinavia party Chris has presented his 3 hours dj set. With the help of the sampler and computers he created true miracles, playing with the lounge an jazz rhythms and creating the common atmosphere of comfort for a few hundreds people at this event.

Legendary Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerard after a large break in their creative work have gathered new group and took off for the world tour. All the European shows were sold out. In St Petersburg 7 people on the stage for 2 hours were creating a true musical miracle form old hits of DCD and new solo compositions of Perry and Lisa. Their beautiful voices have been accompanied by divine sounds of such traditional instruments as guitar, bass, drums and keyboard in combinations with truly exotic ones (hurdy-gurdy). The audience has experienced a true catharsis, whipping involuntary tears. The musicians themselves considered their show in St Petersburg to be the best moment during the whole tour and literally felt in love with our city and its public.

One of the most popular and well-known djs of Europe began his career in early 80's, he played his sets in the most prestigious clubs of Paris: Bains Douche, The palace, The Globo, Roger. He was one of the first who started using Brazilian rhythms in his music and dj sets. Together with his close and famous friend Bob Sinclair he founded one of the leading dance labels Yelllow Productions, where he has released such famous artist as Dimitry of Paris, Kid Loco, Mighty Bob and many others. Dj-set of Yellow has become the main episode of the "party marathon" in the context of Night-Life awards 2004 St. Petersburg.

The inimitable Italians Montefiori Cockatail one more time have felicitated St. Petersburg's public with their concert. Brothers Kikko & Kekko once again has charmed everybody with their unique music, incredible new program and incomparable new vocalist Clemetina. Even in spite of not so convenient for going out time as Tuesday night there was enough of people, who completely forgot that tomorrow morning they had to go to work. Everybody was dancing, not thinking about the time, and did not want their favorites to leave the stages.
