If there was only one, who at night of December, 3 stopped by Platforma club to celebrate the beginning of winter, he was in completely different place at a very wrong time. That night the club was tropically hot and hosted true colorful carnival. 11 participants of number 1 Latino band in the world were performing inimitably hot and bright show with mask dancing. It seemed that in this band everybody can play everything and that in between the songs multiinstrumential Los De Abajo will start juggle with their musical instruments and may be even will toss up guitar or trombone to the public, so the talented ones can have even more fun.

French music and movie star Jane Birkin always wanted to perform in Russia, because she always felt her connection to our culture. Nevertheless, she was not sure if she is a desired guest here, because of her opinion about the Chechnya problem. Bet her talent, art and sincerity as the most important ingredient of everything she has been doing puts Jane on the stage or in everyday life beyond any political issues. All the audience is fascinated listening to the delicate European women singing to eastern-arabic music. She dances and hypnotized audience watches her every move. She tells us that her show Arabesque is her "sorry" and "thank you" for all of her close friends who have left her forever.. And everybody is sobbing and wipes the tears...

All the "light" to the moment of the arrival of the French musical hedonists to our city, either have heard their new album "Drum Major!" itself or at least have heard a lot about it. That's why everybody who came to this performance on that October night knew that there is something super cool, advanced, stylish and sampled in a very interesting way. All of these turned out to be true, but more than that, the surprise was enclosed with it: The real live-cast with a guitar, rhythm and wind sections gave out so much drive, that it could rock not only the small club, but a huge stadium.

The Frank Popp Ensemble has style in everything - from amusing haircuts and show costumes to sound of old-school electro-organs. The Frank Popp Ensemble half of the night have dipped the public into a rainbow utopia of 60's. R&B , freak-beat, new-jazz, garage, funk & soul of magic retro-age, represented by drive of love vocal, guitars, drums and bass, could make anybody get lost in the maze of the past if not for the virtuosi sampling, taking the listener back to the most up-to-date musical reality.

Misty Albion has proved again that in spite of intensive development of club music culture all over the world, it's too early to take away it's name as a Motherland of all the new ideas in modern music. Somebody will tell that R&B and funk are top of the pop now and will be absolutely right. But nobody anywhere else in the world could manage to mix in these styles punk and industrial and join black groove and white drive. And British band Spektrum managed to do it what was a total surprise for all the guests of their Russian tour.

Heroes for Russia, idols of all the punks and rockers The tiger Lillies have been in our country a few times and every time have been waited for with a great impatience. In a crowd of Port guests one could notice a lot of real fans, dressed up in a la tiger lilies hats. Fans were exulting, singing and even tried to copy those not the most decent movements, made by the musicians on the stage. But who cares about decency, when there is cabaret-punk-opera on the stage?

After the performance the guests of the last Stereoleto have the chance to catch up the 3 o'clock bridges, but nobody even was thinking. And wise public was absolutely right. Because the participator of cult project Propellerheads Will White is so well-known and wanted around the world as a Dj, that probably we will not have another chance to enjoy his set here.

It seems, that Delicate Swedish pop-prince could give live club- concerts every week and nobody would be tired, on the contrary it would just multiply his admirers on the banks of the river Neva. Even the far location and the problem of bridge-opening could not stop the high society and provided the show with a great success. Jay Jay has introduced the songs from his new album and was in a total childlike glee because of how well the Russian audience knows his last hits, which everybody was singing along with Jay Jay.

According to the public opinion this show has the most drive and fun during the festival. The guys were going off fully. Bleeding forehead, smashed against the mic could not stop the real rocker, even if he is not just a rocker, but esthetic glam punk. Besides fountain of energy of the musicians the great impact has been made by the unique music instrument covered by bright lights and colorful buttons. It has been constructed by the keyboarder of the band and allowed to extract astonishing electronic sounds with the help of regular pen.

Finally the public got a chance to feel the influence of French touch. The ones understanding French could also appreciate the humor in texts. For the majority though everything was clear without any words. Disco, house, intelligent electronic and rap reading unite everybody in a quality of good music experts. Raised high above hands greeted the headliners of the last Stereoleto party and they delivered a touching gratitude speech back.
